Unmanned aircraft application that utilizes both fuel-cell and solar technologies for its energy generation. At night, stored oxygen and hydrogen are consumed to generate electricity through the fuel-cell system, while the water by-product is captured in a reservoir. During the day, solar photovoltaic arrays generate electricity, which is used to electrolyze the collected water by separating both hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) molecules for storage in Quantum's tanks. Quantum's ultra light-weight storage technology is a key enabler for this regenerative renewable energy system, due to its light-weight characteristic and resistance to the extreme service conditions.
