Brian Olson was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. in May of 2012. He also serves on Quantum’s Board of Directors. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Brian was Quantum’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
From July 1999 to August 2002, Brian was Treasurer, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IMPCO. He joined IMPCO in October 1994 and held various financial positions, including Corporate Controller. Prior to joining IMPCO, Brian was with the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP and its Kenneth Leventhal Group.
Brian also serves as a Director for CALSTART and also serves as a Director/Advisor for several local and community non-profit and civic organizations. Brian received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economic Policy from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from Western Illinois University.
Bradley J. Timon was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Quantum Fuel Systems Worldwide, Inc. in May 2012. Prior to his appointment as CFO he served as Quantum’s Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since April 2004.
Before joining Quantum, Bradley was a financial consultant. From June 1998 to October 2004, he was with CORE, INC. as Corporate Controller and later as Acting Chief Financial Officer. Between September 1995 and May 1998, Bradley served as a Controller for James Hardie Industries. Before entering private industry, he was with the public accounting firm KPMG from 1989 to 1995.
Bradley received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status).
Mark Arold was appointed Vice President of Operations in November of 2014 after holding the position of Vice President, Advanced Propulsion Systems since 2012.
Mark joined IMPCO Technologies in June of 1994 and held various positions in engineering, program management, and management working primarily on alternative fuel vehicle systems. After Quantum separated from IMPCO in 2002, he continued to work on multiple OEM and specialty vehicle programs focused on the development of alternative fuel vehicles that increase efficiency and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
Mark received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
David Mazaika is Quantum’s Executive Director of Strategic Development, establishing corporate direction and strategic agreements with key customer, suppliers, and partners. Earlier, David served as Quantum’s Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2012.
Prior to joining Quantum, David was President and CEO of ISE Corporation, a company he co-founded and over the course of 13 years, grew to be one of the top suppliers of heavy-duty hybrid drive systems. David also played a key role in international business for General Dynamics Space Systems Division, helping to develop products that supported the Atlas rocket, magnetic levitation trains, nuclear reactors, and other energy-related technologies. David worked for General Dynamics’ Convair Division where he was responsible for the systems integration of Tomahawk Cruise Missile into 688 Class submarines and various surface ships.
David received his Bachelors Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
Kenneth R. Lombardo has served as Quantum’s General Counsel since May 2005, the same year he become Quantum’s Corporate Secretary.
From March 1996 to May 2005, Kenneth practiced law at Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC in Detroit, Michigan, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, taxation, and corporate and business law.
Kenneth received his law degree from Wayne State University Law School and B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, from Central Michigan University.
Hernan S. Henriquez was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing of Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc in 2012. Prior to his appointment he served as the Business Development Manager since 2009, and was the Sales Manager from 2006 to 2009.
Hernan has more than a decade’s experience in the gaseous fuels and high-pressure storage vessels industry. Before joining Quantum in 2006, Hernan was the OEM Sales Manager at IMPCO Technologies. There he led domestic and international sales and strategic marketing programs for the commercialization of fuel systems for transportation and industrial applications manufacturers that included Caterpillar, Cummins, and IVECO.
Prior to entering the fuel systems business, Hernan held several managerial roles in high-technology hardware and software companies for Global 500 companies. He received an Associates Science degree in Engineering Technology.
