QUANTUM OEM - Dyno & Testing Capabilities

Emissions Test Lab

Quantum's vehicle test and validation capabilities include a SULEV emission certification testing using an AVL 48" AC chassis dynamometer, the first company on the West Coast to offer SULEV emissions testing. This system can handle up to 300 hp, and 125 mph vehicle speeds. The system is capable of providing our customers with on site emissions testing, and assistance with compliance and Executive Order applications. Our regulatory and certification engineers implement the latest emissions and safety regulations to ensure the proper certification and ongoing compliance of our products and our business. Our lab is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Engine Dynos

Quantum operates an eddy current dyno cell, capable of 470 hp, and 500 ft-lbs of torque as well as a full transient dyno cell, manufactured by Mechatron. This dyno is capable of 500 hp, 1315 ft-lbs, +/- 300 kW electrical power, 4 Quadrant AC, High Speed Transient Capability allowing for full Series and Parallel Hybrid Powertrain development.
