Aerospace and space applications demand extremely light-weight and durable components and systems. Our ultra light-weight carbon-fiber reinforced, patented all-composite lightweight storage technology and highly optimized gas metering systems have been utilized for hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) on-board storage in critical aerospace applications.

Our systems have been used in regenerative energy systems on-board unmanned aircraft. Solar photovoltaic cells generate energy during the day that is used to electrolyze water and produce oxygen and hydrogen, which are stored in light-weight storage systems supplied by Quantum. During the night, the stored oxygen and hydrogen are consumed by an efficient fuel cell to generate electricity.
