OEM - Fuel Systems - Automotive Applications

Fuel metering devices such as injectors and pressure regulators, and high-pressure storage vessels manufactured by Quantum have been utilized in a number of light- duty and medium-duty OEM platforms. Since 1997, through our partnership with GM, in excess of 20,000 compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, ranging from bi-fuel to dedicated fuel for light-duty and medium-duty vehicles have been produced. In addition to these vehicles, Quantum has designed and developed a number of key hydrogen components to meet customer requirements and specifications for 5,000 psi (35MPa) and 10,000psi (70MPa) applications. We take on complete ‘concept to production' projects for both automotive OEMs and large fleet owners.

We have partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy, and national laboratories to optimize our hydrogen storage and metering systems. We continue to work on improving the volumetric and gravimetric efficiencies of our storage systems. We also design and develop electric drive products as well as solar products.
