Dale L. Rasmussen
Chairman


Dale L. Rasmussen has served as a member of Quantum's Board of Directors since October 2000, and was appointed as Chairman of the Board in February 2002. On May 1, 2006, Mr. Rasmussen became a full-time employee of the Company. His areas of responsibility include acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and investor and stockholder relations. Mr. Rasmussen was the Senior Vice President and Secretary of IMPCO Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation, from 1989 through 2005. Prior to joining IMPCO, Mr. Rasmussen was a commercial banker for twelve years and was responsible for managing the bank's investment portfolio and branch and corporate development. Mr. Rasmussen is a graduate of Western Washington University and Pacific Coast Banking School, University of Washington. Mr. Rasmussen also served as Chairman of the Board for Fisker Automotive from November 2007 until January 2010, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Quantum Solar Energy Inc. and Schneider Power Inc.


Alan P. Niedzwiecki
President & Chief Executive Officer


Alan P. Niedzwiecki  has served as Quantum's President and has been on its Board of Directors since February 2002, and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in August 2002. Mr. Niedzwiecki served as our Chief Operating Officer from November 2001 until he was appointed as our Chief Executive Officer in August 2002. From October 1999 to November 2001, Mr. Niedzwiecki served as our Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. From February 1990 to October 1999, Mr. Niedzwiecki was President of NGV Corporation, an engineering and marketing/commercialization consulting company. Mr. Niedzwiecki has more than 25 years of experience in the alternative fuels industry in product and technology development and commercialization relating to mobile, stationary power generation and refueling infrastructure solutions. Mr. Niedzwiecki is a graduate of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Mr. Niedzwiecki also serves on the Board of Directors of Quantum Solar Energy, Inc.,  Schneider Power Inc. and CALSTART.


W. Brian Olson
Chief Financial Officer


W. Brian Olson has served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since August 2002. From July 1999 to August 2002, Mr. Olson served as Treasurer, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IMPCO. He originally joined IMPCO in October 1994 and held various financial positions with IMPCO, including serving as Corporate Controller. Prior to joining IMPCO, Mr. Olson was with the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP and its Kenneth Leventhal Group. Mr. Olson holds a B.S. degree in business and operations management from Western Illinois University and an M.B.A. degree in finance and economic policy from the University of Southern California. Mr. Olson is a Certified Financial Manager and a Certified Management Accountant. Mr. Olson serves on the Board of Directors of Quantum Solar Energy, Inc.


David Mazaika
Chief Operating Officer


Mr. Mazaika is Chief Operating Officer of Quantum Technology Inc. He has operational responsibility over Quantum's Drive System, Solar System, and Fuel Systems groups. Mr. Mazaika also serves as Chairman of the Board of ISE Corporation. Prior to his appointment to Chairman, Mr. Mazaika was President and CEO of ISE corporation for 13 years. He was responsible for co-founding the company and growing it to the third largest supplier of heavy duty hybrid drive systems in the United States. His management responsibilities included P&L performance, sales and marketing, product engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, legal, quality, and service organizations. Attracted, hired, trained, and developed over 150 people from shop floor to senior management. Before co-founding ISE in 1995, Mr. Mazaika worked for General Dynamics' Convair Division where he was responsible for the systems integration of Tomahawk Cruise Missile into 688 Class submarines and various surface ships. He also played a key role in international business development at General Dynamics Space Systems Divisions' space and energy systems products, including those supporting the Atlas rocket, magnetic levitation trains, nuclear reactors, particle accelerators, and other energy related technologies. Mr. Mazaika has numerous patents, has been published in over forty publications from trade journals to the Wall Street Journal, and has appeared on a variety of TV shows including CBS, NBC, and CNN. Mr. Mazaika received his BSEE from Cornell University in Ithaca New York.


Dr. Neel Sirosh
Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Neel Sirosh is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Quantum Technologies Inc., based in Irvine, California. Dr. Sirosh has 20 years of experience in the alternative energy industry, in various capacities encompassing R&D, product commercialization, business development and strategic business initiatives. He led the development of solar electric generation systems and other renewable energy-related projects at Quantum, for the past 4 years. He is a member of the Advisory Council for Alternative Energy for CSA International, and a member of the International Standards Organization committees to develop standards related to alternative energy. Dr. Sirosh holds 6 US patents related to energy storage and alternative energy systems. He has made in excess of 35 presentations/papers in international conferences and journals and contributed to two books on energy:  "Hydrogen Technology - Mobile and Portable Applications", Springer (2008) and "Electrochemical Energy Sources", Elsevier (2009). He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, Canada, MBA from the Paul Mirage School of Management, University of California, in Irvine and BE (Honors) from the University of Madras, India.


Kenneth R. Lombardo
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Lombardo has served as General Counsel since May 2005 and became Corporate Secretary in September 2005. From March 1996 to May 2005, Mr. Lombardo practiced law at Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC in Detroit, Michigan, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, taxation, corporate and business law.  Mr. Lombardo is also a certified public accountant with over six years of audit and tax experience with Deloitte & Touche.  Mr. Lombardo received his law degree from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, from Central Michigan University.
